CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a synthetic 29-amino acid peptide analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), produced through controlled peptide synthesis. It features specific amino acid substitutions (including D-Ala²) that enhance stability against enzymatic degradation while maintaining a relatively short biological half-life. Unlike the DAC-conjugated version, CJC-1295 (no DAC) does not bind to albumin, resulting in more frequent, physiologic pulsatile GH release.
